Anybody Live In Palm Springs/Palm Desert?

We aren't moving to L.A. after all, but we are on a waiting list for a low-income housing program in Palm Desert. Does anyone live in or around Palm Desert? What types of things are there for blind people? Where can I go for mobility services? Are there such things as goal-ball, recreational activities or organization meetings such as ACB or NFB? These answers would help me greatly.

I know where Palm Desert is but i dont really know but my uncle lives near palm spring and he does this ham radio thingy i know there is a guy whos visually who like ham radio. i am not from the state of CA so i cant really help you sorry

Palm Springs is hotter than fuck during the summer, so if you like 112 and above you'll have a blast. I think the Braille Institute of America might provide services in that area, but don't know for sure.
